Every few months, we look back at the timing it took to complete the 10 most recent lease transactions.  We document three separate periods, the first being the time it took for first offers to arrive, the second being the time it took to select the best offer and negotiate terms, the third being the time it took to prepare and negotiate a final lease agreement, and secure a fully executed lease agreement.  We then average that data to arrive at the average timing for each of the three periods.  We also compare this average to the same period 12 months earlier, in order to gauge what direction the market is heading.
